    Looking back on the “My adidas,” song that the hip-hop group RUN-DMC produced in 1986 in addition to, when, during the Madison Square Garden in New York concert they asked fans “if you’ve got adidas on, hold ’em in the air” and 40,000 fans did, we can see in what manner, the adidas Superstar has become an icon of contemporary culture.

    The adidas Superstar continues to be an acclaimed style, in part, for its great versatility. Its beginnings may have been due to being known as a sports footwear, however, presently, the style is used with any look and all occasions. The options on the way in which to wear them are unending and no matter what style you have or what look you are pursuing, if it’s dressy, casual, trendy, athletic or a more hipster outfit, you can never go wrong when you wear Adidas Superstars.

    With respect to the indicated, we welcome the new Superstar XLG. Which have been reinvented with a higher platform on the sole, outer leather, Eva insole for a prime comfort, thicker laces and a larger toe box that adds a touch of audacity and a lot of attitude.

    For this special occasion, two Colombian designers were chosen to highlight the self-expression aim behind the new Superstar XLG design.     The second Colombian designer invited was the Santanderean designer, Humberto Cubidez, creative director of the Cubel brand, who chose two garments for the fashion photographer and visual storyteller, Juan Moore to wear. Based on his personal experiences, travels and cultural encounters, he intervened adidas Originals hoodie and shorts with a unique print, projecting an urban look through textile experimentation and multicultural representation. The garments convey the relationship of human beings with the earth and animals such as the condor, a symbol that protects all the heavens and represents ancestrally. the worldview of ethnic groups.

    ‘‘The illustration displays us a world of technology, which protects the earth and the contents of it. A very near future that will process the information of humanity in circuits or information systems that exceed the dimension of the possible. This is how Serankwa, as a symbol of creative beings for the Arhuaca community, serves as an inspiration to devise a world completely influenced by technology.” Juan Moore
