The Resort 2025 fashion season was based on collections that delivered runway shows inspired by playing a tribute to curiosity and the spirit of adventure intended for modern, confident women with a certain audacity, tales that connected both the past and the brand’s present, the 70’s along with Art Deco, Scotland’s history by Dior and Spanish characters such as Gaudí by Louis Vuitton, among others.

Tops

Blouses with puffed and balloon-shaped sleeves, off-the-shoulder dresses, body-hugging T-shirts, baby doll dresses, denim jackets with fringes, semi-structured punk pannier corsets, asymmetrical dresses and short bomber jackets where some of the main fashion trends seen during the season. Louis Vuitton was inspired by the traditional sailor’s outfit seen through its wide collars, shoulders and its inverted triangle shapes. Gucci Resort 2025 showcased double-breasted jackets, blouses with bows from their necklines, oversized leather bombers, short leather coats and high collars; during the Chanel show, delicate patchwork lace dresses, cardigans combined with hooded sweaters and cut-out logos where the pieces that stole the runway.

Bottoms

High Waisted Jeans, sexy high waisted leather pants, cropped above the ankle and worn with shiny leather cowboy boots seen at the Hermès Resort 2025 show, stood out from the rest of the pieces making a clear fashionista statement. Other garments that caught the audience attention and became instant of Resort 2025 trends were, knee-length skirts, – evoking the shape of a kilt – those voluptuous ones and silk pants. When it came to Gucci, their jeans in mixed washes became a plus and Chanel, wowed the public via matching crochet skirts and knitted beige shorts sets.

Colors

During the Resort 2025 season, the color palette which we saw the most in various runway shows were the neutral and camel color palettes. Likewise, Hermès opted for an electric blue and a taxi yellow, Gucci presented pastel colors contrasts, defined by skirts and coordinated sets of handbags, and Chanel, for its part, used pastel colors, concrete-type grays and grid patterns.

Accessories

What a show! designers really made use of their creativity and craftsmanship when it came to accessories fashion trends. We saw, voluptuous belts with silk tassels, boxer-ballet style sneakers that Chloé launched this season, metallic belts with tassels, fringed bags and musketeer boots. Hermès bags tied on the shoulders or around the waist to keep your hands free drew the audience attention, as well as, Dior debuted leather chokers, quilted leather crossbody bags, casual zip-up biker boots, and ribbon sling backs. For its Resort 2025 collection, Louis Vuitton pointed to straw gaucho hats and mirrored racing glasses along with Gucci who used horse-toe ballet flats with rubber soles and metal buckles. And when it comes to fashion trends in accessories, Chanel used all her creativity with pearls grouped on top of each other, thick earrings, transparent gloves, gold belts, classic and mini bags, and hats.
